♥yosh peeposh~! today was a fun and cold day! hehe. if ya wondering, let me tell u why. first of all, let me start from the very beginning of the day. so bear wif me yeah? hehe. i woke up at 6.50am today. brush teeth, change clothes, tie hair and stuffs... met sheytene at 7.10am. alamak. late a little bit. went ate roti prata. faster chiong to school. met up wif jing tian, wei fang, nolvin, lea and amalina. took stands, instruments and stuffs larhs. went to mrt station. met wif ms loh at jurong east. she late luhs... x.x den went dover. took bus. reached anglo-chinese independent school. ms loh gave us $40 for later the thing end de cab money. hehe^^ thankiews worhs ms loh~!^^ first, from 9 to 12, we all went for our instrument workshop. sian larhs... i the onli one seh. cos farah neva come pei wo lorhs. lok teng oso neva pei wo. sianz larhs. emo lorhs. the percussionists went to the band room. when i reach there, sitting, waiting, i was like waseh!!! omg! the band room was very very very super super awesomely nice man!^^ hehe. really!!! the band room is like okays, there is a space, like other room. the two sides are like so called "store rooms" for them to put their bags and stuffs. the most fascinating thing is that the percussionist actually stand at the back of the room! they had a like another corner for the percussionists where all the instruments are there. waseh! very nice. they had everything i think. no wonder their band was so nice. cos their instruments quality oso very nice mahs. haish. sadded that our school oso not so nice. but one thing not so good is that, the room was damn super cold. and i mean freezingly cold!!! bbbrrrhhhhh!!!!! i had to wear jacket. and still not enuff lols x.x okays. back to my main point. our teacher is a man from japan. he speaks in an accent which i think all of the ppl in the room don really quite understand. the name i forgot liaos. >.< first, he taught us some warm-ups. hmmm. some i noe, but got one or two is new to me. hehe. den came the 3 things. the different types of strokes, flams and rolls. strokes got up stroke and down stroke. the up stroke is new to me. flams. he neva like tell us how to do in precise larhs. den rolls. he roll until very even seh!!! no wonder he is a pro. hehe. he all oso noe, except for drum set hehe^^ i think so larhs. i going to try on the snare drum next tuesday when there is band practise hehe^^ den he taught marimba and xylophone. marimba sound very nice lorhs. alamak. pity we don have marimba and vibraphone. sadded. i hope we will have one soon?! den he demonstrate how to play the different types of accessories. got triangle, tambourine, sleigh bells, cymbals ( crash and suspended ), whip crack, castanets, cabasa, shaker... i think like this larhs. a little bit short term memory now liaos hehe^^ pardon me worhs. very nice lorhs. now i can "roll" on the tambourine liaos. at least at their tambourine. but theirs is different than ours seh x.x wonder if i can roll... haish. learn different things larhs. den he demonstrate timpani. funneh. den like that finish liaos. thankiews teacher!!!^^ met wif others and had lunch break. next up went to the SL talk. sheytene, nolvin and amalina morning went wrong class, they went SL lesson, so from 1 to 4, they went for their instrument practise lols... onli left me, jing tian, wei fang and lea at the SL workshop. the teacher there very funny lorhs. got some sense of humour. i enjoyed his teachings. i oso learnt some things. really. about SL. den he got ask us to go around, asking for ppl's name, wad instrument they play and wad school are they from. that is where i knew more about soo huay, my new friend hehe^^ she oso percussionist. my partner. we got tok tok during the instrument training but we both still like shy shy larhs. hehe. den neva tok much. now we got tok more liaos. hehe. den like that finish liao lorhs. took cab. hailed very funnily by nolvin. thankiews anyway hehe^^ alight at jurong east mrt station there. in the same cab as jing tian and sheytene. nolvin, wei fang, amalina and lea sat in the other cab. they all alight at jurong east mrt station except nolvin hu went straight home cos he was carrying his tuba! so ya. but den lea and amalina and wei fang neva meet wif us lols. we still wait there for them. alamak! den i go call ms loh, ask whether can she treat us bubble tea? she said okay larhs. hehe. thankiews ms loh~!^^ den took 334 home. jing tian and sheytene took 335 home. actually i oso can take de larhs. but still nid to walk. den i lazy mahs. hehe. den like that lorhs. reached home. just bathe finish. haven eat dinner yet. waiting for mummy to return home. haish. so ya. nth much to post liaos. tmr going to library wif jing tian wei fang to borrow books. and to buy presents. teachers day presents. so... signing off here den~!^^ |
